Lovin Update

Wow! It has been so long since I've posted anything I'm not sure if I know how to do this anymore. So many things have happened since March. I turned 40 in April, Shannon & I are both back in school, my 13yr old had swine flu, & we moved from our apartment into Shannon's grandma's house. We spent a month remodeling, planted a garden, & moved in. We are very comfortable here & I know Shannon's grandma would've wanted it this way. She was a really cool & extremely funny woman.

This past weekend we headed down to Destin, FL to see Joan Jett. Anyone who knows Shannon is aware that JJ is her idol so she was pumped. We stayed in her brothers condo which allowed me to hang on the beach which is where I love to be. We pigged out at the Seafood Festival where Joan was playing & staked out our front row spot. It was so much fun. Shannon danced her way out in front of the stage, followed by our friend Michelle. She handed me the camera & told me she was going so I was able to capture it. It was the coolest thing ever. Check it out- She is SO adorable.



I have to tell you that Joan Jett is looking so awesome. I was just in gaga land & drooling through most of the show. She is a really beautiful woman. I announced that she is my new freebie. She did this little eye rub thing that Shannon does all the time. Shannon claims Joan "stole her move". How freakin adorable is that? So anyway, there's an update for everyone. We are doing fine. The kids are fine. We're engaged to be married & just waiting for Shannon's divorce to be final. C'mon! It's been two years. Will it end already? There's another court date set for next month. Maybe this date will actually stick. We'll see.

Maybe later I'll post pics from our trip. It was one of my best vacations ever.
